Of course! You can order an additional card/additional cards from the TAMOIL Card Center (0844 000 102 or info@tamoilcard.info).
If you have an online account, you can log in and send your request for an additional card/additional cards using the contact form.

No. It is only valid within Switzerland’s TAMOIL service station network.
It's free! There’s no annual card fee or administration fee.
A processing fee will only be charged if:
payment is made late
the card needs to be unblocked after being blocked
the card is lost or needs to be replaced

You will receive a monthly invoice at the start of the month. The total sum must be paid within 20 days.
You can apply via our website (here if you are a private individual and here if you are a professional) or by using the card application form, which you can find in our brochures at TAMOIL service stations with a shop. This form is postage paid, so simply fill it in, sign it and put it in a post box.
As a TAMOIL MyCard or TAMOIL CoolCard holder, you can pay for your fuel and purchases in our shops.
Companies with a TAMOIL CompanyCard or TAMOIL CombiCard can restrict purchase authorisations to certain product categories. For example, they can exclude shop items or certain types of fuel.

You can ask to change your PIN number by emailing the TAMOIL Card Center (info@tamoilcard.info). Please state your current PIN number and the new PIN number that you wish to change it to.
This process is free of charge.

After receiving your correspondence, the TAMOIL Card Center will block your cards. A confirmation will be sent to you once all of your invoices have been settled.
There is no cancellation period.

Gift vouchers
Yes! In all TAMOIL service stations with a shop, except for “avec” shops.
If you wish to purchase vouchers in large quantities and the total exceeds CHF 500, you can also contact TAMOIL SA by writing to bon@tamoil.ch
Only fuel.
This depends on whether your voucher was issued by a station or by TAMOIL SA headquarters.
You can find this information on the gift voucher, next to “A valoir sur votre prochain plein d’essence à notre station: / Einlösbar bei Ihrer nächsten Tankfüllung an unserer Tankstelle (= To be redeemed when you next refuel at our station): [name of station]”.
Either you will find the stamp of a particular station, in which case the voucher is only valid at that station, or it will say “An allen schweizerischen TAMOIL-Tankstellen mit Shop / dans toutes les stations-service TAMOIL avec shop en Suisse” (= at all TAMOIL service stations with shop in Switzerland).
The vouchers must be presented to the checkout staff. Therefore, they cannot be used outside of shop opening hours, nor at the pay-at-pump machines.
Promotions and discounts
No, the discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other benefits.
For example, if a service station is offering a promotional discount, this cannot be combined with the discount you receive by using your TAMOIL fuel card. But you will, of course, receive the discount that offers the best value for you.
Using the pay-at-pump machines
Usually, the machine will issue you a credit voucher (with a barcode) if you have paid in cash but have not taken any fuel or the cost of the fuel that you have taken is less than the amount you have paid.
This credit voucher is a means of payment that you can only use at the machines of this particular service station.
When you pay, simply scan the barcode on the receipt and the amount will be deducted, as if you were paying in cash.
This amount has not actually been debited, it has been reserved to cover your fuel purchase. This reserved amount will be returned to you within a few days once your actual purchase amount has been recorded.

The map with our fuel stations is accessible to all users without the need for an account. If you want to fill up and pay using the app, you must create an account and log in to use this feature.
The GPS is required to know your exact location and find the nearest station or to determine if you are actually in the station when you choose to refuel with the application. Your location data is not stored.
Although we try to provide an application that is as stable as possible, sometimes it can crash. This can be due to various reasons, such as a missing internet connection. If this happens more often, please reinstall the app.
We regularly offer new versions in order to make adjustments in connection with its use. We are also constantly developing the application to incorporate new functionalities.
Launch the app and go through the first informative screens. On the screen where you want to sign in or create an account, click "Log in" and then "Forgot your password?" Enter the email address you used to create your account and click "Send". You will receive an email to create a new password.
Two-factor authentication by e-mail is a feature that enhances the security of user accounts on our application. It consists of asking the user to confirm their e-mail address at two key moments: when the account is created and when they log in again after a period of inactivity.
When the account is created, the user must enter their e-mail address and choose a password. They will then receive an e-mail containing a code to validate their account. By inserting the code into the application, users confirm that their e-mail address belongs to them and that they are the account holder. They can then access all the app's functions.
When reconnecting, users must enter their e-mail address and password. If they have not used the application for more than a month, they will receive another e-mail containing a code to validate their account. This mechanism verifies that the user is still the owner of their e-mail address and that they have not lost access to their account.
Two-factor authentication by e-mail offers a number of advantages: it protects the user account against theft or identity theft, by preventing a malicious person from logging on with a stolen or hacked e-mail address. It also makes it possible to recover the user account if the password is forgotten, by sending a link or button to reset the password to the e-mail address associated with the account. It also ensures that the user receives notifications and important information relating to the application.
It may happen that a fuel station has already opened its doors, but it appears in the app with a little delay. Feel free to contact us if a station is missing.

We display the distance as the crow flies in our application, not the road distance. Distance information is more accurate in your navigation application.
A fuel station is a traffic zone and the use of a phone is a distraction hazard that could lead to accidents. Please start the app from the car. Once you have permission to refuel, leave your phone in the car or put it in your pocket, but do not use it in the refueling area.
Yes, absolutely! On the map, press the "filter" symbol in the bottom right corner. A list of all the services will appear. Click on one or more of the services you are looking for. The application will show you which stations offer the desired services using the "Show Results" button.
You can activate the display of Socar service stations under the "Settings" menu and then activate this function by pressing the "CombiCard: show Socar" button. However, it is not possible to fill up and pay through our app at these stations.
It's simple!
1) Download the TAMOIL Suisse app and create your account.
2) Log in to your account and enter your debit and/or credit card in the "Transactions" section.
3) When you are at the fuel station to fill up, select the station on the map and click on "Refuel". If the application detects by geolocation that you are actually at the station, it will ask you to choose the number of the pump and the type of fuel.
4) Confirm the payment method you have entered in advance (or one of them). For debit/credit cards, a reservation of CHF 150.- will be made and a message will confirm that you can now refuel.
5) Refuel your car.
6) After refueling, you will receive an email with the receipt of your transaction and it will be listed in the "Transactions" section. You can then proceed your journey.
Payment with our app is possible at almost 200 stations throughout the day. At around 70 stations, payment is only possible at night during the closing hours of the shop. Based on your location, the app detects whether you are at a station where payment is possible at that time or not. In the event that payment with the app is not possible, this feature is not available to you.
You can pay for your fuel with the app if you have chosen your fuel station, pump and fuel type on site in the app.
Currently, it is not possible to pay with the app if you have not followed this procedure. You cannot pay with the app in the shop or after releasing a pump with a card in the payment machine.
We strive to offer payment with the app in the shop as soon as possible.
Currently, you can register your debit card (Visa, Mastercard), credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club) or your TAMOIL fuel card in the app wallet. Cards from PostFinance and prepaid cards are excluded.
Please note that your debit card must be activated for online payment. Most banks allow you to do this in your e-banking. If this is not possible for you, please contact your bank directly.
You have the option to add multiple payment cards to your account. However, the first card you enter will automatically be set as the default card for your future payments. It will be labeled as "Card n°1". This means that when you make a purchase, "Card n°1" will be automatically selected. At that point, you can either confirm the use of this card or choose one of the other cards you have entered in your wallet.
If you want to change the default proposed card - for example, set the third card you entered as your main card in the application's wallet - follow these steps:
1) Open the application and click on "Manage my cards" in the menu "Transactions".
2) To make your third card your main card, you need to remove all previously saved cards, in this case "Card n°1" and "Card n°2".
3) Once these cards are removed, your third card will automatically become the main card for your future payments. If you still want to use the removed cards, you need to enter them again so that they are added in positions 2, 3, etc.

Payment security is one of our top priorities. Payment with the TAMOIL Suisse app is carried out by our partner WORLDLINE and its Saferpay system and complies with all applicable security standards and legal guidelines.
It is important to return to the Saferpay/Worldline page if it has not closed automatically. Check whether a window with this page is still open and, if so, return to it. Once you have returned to this page, the authentication procedure will be completed very quickly and you will be automatically redirected to the app. Confirmation that you are ready to refuel should then appear very quickly.
3D Secure is a security step when you pay by card for your online purchases. If you activate 3D Secure, you will need to authenticate yourself to validate some of your transactions. Depending on the bank that issued your card, the authentication procedures will vary.
Redirection to the Tamoil Suisse app after 3D Secure authentication is automatic in most transactions, or a new window will prompt you to return to the app by clicking ‘open’. However, it is important to return to the Saferpay/Worldline page if it did not close automatically. After returning to this page, the authentication procedure will be completed very quickly and you will be automatically redirected to TAMOIL Suisse. Confirmation that you can refuel should not take long.
No, the fuel station cashier recognizes that the fuel payment was made using the app. Therefore, they do not need to be notified.
No, currently this is not possible.
If you use a debit card, your bank account may only be debited a few days after the purchase, or even at the end of the month, depending on the bank. However, the value date is generally that of the day of purchase.
On the map, the station pins will also display a small image of a mobile phone. In the station services, if "Mobile payment 24/7" or "Mobile payment night only" are activated, you can refuel and pay via the application either all day or during the shop's closing hours.
If you are already at the station, select the "Refuel" menu directly. If the station appears with a "Refuel" button, you can follow the refuelling procedure in the app and pay via the app.
In order to refuel and pay for fuel using the TAMOIL Suisse app, you must activate the location recognition. Thanks to this, the app recognises which fuel station you are at.
Your location data is not stored.
If you have chosen the wrong pump number and already confirmed the payment method and not yet clicked on the button "Refuel", you can click on the button "Cancel".
If you have already clicked on the "Refuel" button, remove the dispensing nozzle and put it back in order to force a transaction to 0 liters = 0 CHF.
Your transaction history remains visible as long as your account is active.
Yes, you will receive a receipt. It will be sent directly to the email address you used to create your account. This receipt is not available in the app, you will only see the basic transaction information under "Transactions".

Loyalty card
You receive a stamp for every 10 litres of fuel that you buy.
Once all 40 spaces on the card have been stamped, you are entitled to a CHF 10 discount on items in the shop of the station for which the loyalty card is valid.
This discount does not apply to fuel or to certain items such as gift vouchers, motorway charge stickers, tobacco, press items, taxable refuse bags, phone cards, prepaid cards (iTunes, Spotify, etc.), lottery tickets, etc.
