Topping-out ceremony Herrlisberg Nord

The time has finally come: our third TAMOIL highway service station is taking shape in Herrlisberg Nord (ZH) and a new milestone has been reached! On April 30, we celebrated the erection and roofing of the shell of the store and restaurant building with a topping-out ceremony.

The various partners involved in the project came together in beautiful weather: TAMOIL, Autogrill and SPAR, representatives of the authorities, the architect in charge and most of the workers who have been working on this important construction site.

On this occasion, Hans Boesch, Director Retail Network TAMOIL SA, gave a brief overview of the scope of the project and expressed his thanks to all those involved for their cooperation and commitment. This was followed by speeches from Stefan Seiz, Chief Operating Officer Switzerland Autogrill, and the architect of the project, Marcel Soriano.

The motorway service area and fuel station will start operating in the fall. In addition to offering classic fuels and AdBlue® at the pump, it will be equipped with 4 electric fast-charging stations with 8 charging spots. All necessary measures were taken to ensure the expansion of this infrastructure to meet the needs of the growing number of electric vehicles. With no fewer than 580 solar panels on the station’s roof, part of the electricity required is generated directly on site. A rich selection of convenience food and a wide range of food and non-food items for daily needs will be offered by SPAR express. Food & beverage will be provided by Holy Cow with its gourmet burgers and GranBar, an authentic Italian coffee bar.
